Lady Lassie’s puppies – almost three weeks old
Lady Lassie’s puppies have their eyes open and are moving around. They and Little Anne’s puppies tried soft puppy food last night for the first time, and loved it. They will now eat soft puppy food, drink water, and warm colostrum, and nurse. They will be weaned from nursing from their mother in a few weeks.
Candice – tricolor female – 1 pound 8 ounces
Griss – tricolor male – 1 pound 9 ounces
Frolic – tricolor male – 1 pound 7 ounces
Little Anne’s puppies – three weeks old
Little Anne’s puppies have their eyes open and they are enjoying looking at the world around them. Now that the weather is nice enough, we will be taking them outside to scoot around in the grass and on a blanket. We will also take them for walks wrapped in a blanket in our baby slings!
Snow II puppies – one week old
Snow II’s puppies are a beautiful bunch and doing well. It is challenging for mothers to nurse this many puppies so we help her, Little Anne, and Lassie by giving them warm chicken broth, milk and colostrum. We also make chicken soup and beef stew for the mothers. They LOVE it!
